Terms of Exchange and Return for Goods of Satisfactory Quality

Article 9. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection": The consumer has the right to exchange non-food goods of satisfactory quality for a similar item from the seller where it was purchased, if the goods do not satisfy them in terms of shape, size, style, color, dimensions, or for other reasons cannot be used as intended. The consumer has the right to exchange goods of satisfactory quality within fourteen days, excluding the day of purchase.

An exchange or return is processed only if the device meets the following criteria:

  • Unused: Completely free of any signs of use, operation, or activation.
  • Resalable condition: The original condition of the device, protective films, and its elements is fully preserved.
  • Factory markings: All consumer properties, seals, labels, and stickers remain intact and in place.
  • Receipt and warranty: The original sales receipt (fiscal check) and the product's warranty card are provided.

Clarification regarding the preservation of resalable condition:

Resalable Appearance: New equipment is sold with factory protective films, which is a key factor in determining its resalable condition. Included chargers, headsets, cables, and batteries are sealed with special protective strips or blisters. It is strictly recommended not to damage these packaging elements during initial inspection. The product must also be completely free of scuffs, micro-scratches, and chips.

Evidence of Non-use: All modern electronics are supplied with default factory software. Authorized service centers or our receiving managers can easily verify whether a device has been launched, configured, or activated. If third-party programs, system setting changes, or traces of use (residual files, photos, notes, contacts) are detected, the store reserves the legal right to refuse a return due to violation of the non-use requirement.

Seals, Labels, and Documents: Damage to or absence of factory seals automatically invalidates the possibility of returning or exchanging an item of satisfactory quality. To perform a refund procedure, the customer must provide the original fiscal receipt and the «TECHBOOM» warranty card.

Accessories and Consumables: Only unopened accessories are eligible for return. If there are signs of an opened blister or attempts to re-seal the packaging, such items cannot be returned. Please check compatibility and specifications before opening the branded box.

Return Procedure Notice: When processing a return, it is mandatory to fill out this application form by hand and send it back along with the product and a copy of the invoice/receipt confirming the purchase.

Important Notice Regarding Order Acceptance: Please thoroughly inspect the integrity of the packaging, external appearance, and complete set of the goods immediately upon receipt — at our pickup point, in the presence of the courier, or at the "Nova Poshta" branch. If any damage or incomplete items are found, you have the right to refuse acceptance. Once the goods are accepted from the courier or collected from the carrier's branch, claims regarding mechanical damage, body defects, or incomplete items will not be accepted by the store.

Warranty Service Procedure

You can always contact any authorized service center of the product manufacturer that provides official warranty maintenance. This is often the fastest way to get diagnostics and repair directly from certified experts.

Alternatively, to submit a device for warranty service through our store:

  1. Securely pack the device in its original factory box along with all included accessories (cables, adapters, documentation).
  2. Prepare the original «TECHBOOM» warranty card indicating the model, serial number (or IMEI), date of sale, and exact warranty period.
  3. Contact one of the authorized service centers or send the device to our service department.

If an authorized service center issues an official conclusion regarding the impossibility of performing a warranty repair (recognized as a manufacturing defect with no possibility of repair), you have the right to exchange the device or receive a refund. To do this, provide the store with:

  • The product in its complete factory configuration and original packaging;
  • The original warranty card and a document confirming payment;
  • The original certificate/conclusion of the service center confirming a "Significant Defect".

Consumer Rights in Case of Product Defects

Article 8. According to the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection": In case of discovering defects during the established warranty period, the consumer, in accordance with the procedures and timeframes established by law, has the legal right to demand:

  1. A proportional reduction in the initial price of the goods;
  2. Free elimination of the detected defects within a reasonable and agreed timeframe;
  3. Reimbursement of expenses incurred by the consumer for self-elimination of the defects.

The consumer's claims and demands are not subject to satisfaction if the seller or manufacturer proves, based on a technical evaluation, that the defects arose due to a clear violation by the user of the operating rules, storage conditions, or transportation of the device. The customer has the right to personally participate in checking the quality and technical evaluation of the goods.

Limitations of Warranty Obligations

The service center has the legal right to refuse warranty repair if:

  • The integrity of factory seals, stickers, or holograms is broken, or there are traces of re-pasting;
  • There is clear mechanical, thermal, or chemical damage caused by intentional or careless actions of the buyer or third parties;
  • Safety rules and operating conditions of the device, detailed in the user documentation, have been violated;
  • Signs of unauthorized opening of the case, independent repair, modification of internal engineering communications, circuits, or construction of the device are detected;
  • The warranty card fields are missing, unreadable, or incorrectly filled out;
  • The unique serial number or IMEI stored in the product's system memory has been software-modified, erased, physically removed, or cannot be established during initial inspection.

Warranty obligations strictly do not apply to:

  • Natural wear and tear of components, depletion of working lifespan, or natural degradation of battery capacity;
  • Accidental defects and operational damages directly caused by the user;
  • Damage caused by force majeure events, natural disasters, or weather phenomena;
  • Malfunctions caused by negligent use: non-compliance with temperature limits, prolonged exposure to moisture or immersion in liquid, high dust levels, corrosion of elements, or ingress of foreign objects and insects inside the housing;
  • Damage caused by a critical emergency surge or drop in voltage in the power grid, or by using non-certified charging devices;
  • Defects arising from using the device in combination with faulty third-party systems or due to incorrect connection with other products;
  • Damage that appeared due to using the product for purposes other than intended or with rough violation of the manufacturer's basic instructions.
