eSIM (embedded-SIM) is an embedded SIM card that is delivered to your email immediately after payment. It is also called virtual, electronic, digital, etc.
eSIM completely replaces a physical SIM card and has a number of advantages:
- does not take up a cell in your device
- you can install up to 5 eSIMs on one device and quickly switch between them
- simultaneous use of a physical SIM and eSIM
- protected from physical damage in case of loss of your smartphone, an attacker will not be able to use your eSIM.
To use eSIM, you must:
- Make sure that your device supports eSIM. (The list of devices with eSIM support is in the "Characteristics" section)
- Purchase a starter package with eSIM (delivered to your email immediately after online payment)
- Scan the received QR code (an Internet connection is required to install and activate eSIM). For convenience, you may need a second device, from the screen of which you can read the eSIM QR code.
Tariff for eSIM
You have the opportunity to choose any tariff for your eSIM. We send the eSIM already activated, after downloading it to the device you only need to connect the tariff plan. The term for selecting a tariff plan is 180 days.

Please carefully read the list of devices that support eSIM. Please note that eSIM is a service and according to the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection" services are not subject to return.
If after several attempts the purchased eSIM starter package could not be activated, please call the support service at 0800202220 (free of charge in the lifecell network and from any other subscriber numbers of mobile or fixed-line operators of Ukraine). If the issue cannot be resolved remotely by the support service specialists, a new electronic eSIM starter package will be sent to your e-mail within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of the request. The subscriber number of the new starter package may be either unchanged or different from the subscriber number of the previously purchased eSIM starter package.
After activating the eSIM, if a tariff plan is not selected and the personal account is not replenished in the amount of 10 UAH. or more in one payment, the subscriber number will be valid for 180 days from the moment of activation (activation day + 179 days). If you select a tariff plan and replenish your personal account in the amount of 10 UAH. and more than one payment (within the specified 180 days, regardless of the sequence of selection and replenishment) the validity period of the subscriber number will be extended by 365 days (day of replenishment + 364 days). Accrual and/or use of bonuses is not considered replenishment of the personal account and does not affect the validity period of the number.
*! If the phone was purchased in another country, then it can be "locked" ONLY to one operator, which was set for the country of manufacture. In this case, it is technically impossible to download an eSIM from lifecell.
*Please note that even if the terminal is in the list of devices that support eSIM, but it was purchased in another country, its correct operation is not always guaranteed. For example, to check the Apple iPhone 12 Pro phone, go to the Apple support website, find the corresponding model and model number. For example, the A2341 model is intended for the US market, and for use in our network the A2407 model is required.
